Profile of Fishery Department :
The Office of the District Fishery Dev. Officer has been running in a rented house at A.K Azad Road, Ward No. 7, P.O & Dist – Dhubri (Assam). It has no permanent Govt. Office Building. It has two Sub-Divisional Offices namely Sub-Divisional Fishery Dev. Office, Bilasipara and Sub-Divisional Fishery Dev. Office, South Salmara Mankachar Sub Division, Hatsingimari. It has two Govt. Farm namely Boalia Fish Seed Farm, Agomani and Bherbheri Fish Farm, Paikandara.

Fishery Department Services : The Department provide services both directly and indirectly under various Developmental schemes and funds are received against physical and financial target in a year for proper implementation of the schemes. The department is directly involving for completion of civil work the biological part of the schemes.
To Apply for any schemes the Fish Farmers should submit the following documents:
Application form must be submitted (It can be collect from the office).
Proper Land Document
Photocopy copy of Pass Book of active account of any Nationalized Bank
Pre Photo of Project Site.

Registration of Grower /Producer/Seller : Fees are collected from Grower /Producer/Seller and deposited to the Departmental Head of Account through Treasury Challan.
